The beachfront promenade is level. At the northern end, a sand-access ramp near Wally Weekes children's pool provides access to the sand. Beach matting is deployed when conditions permit: Tuesday and Thursday 8am–1pm, and Saturday 8am–6pm. One adult and one child beach wheelchair are available, but must be booked in advance with Waverley Council. Accessible and ambulant toilets are at North Bondi; Bondi Pavilion has accessible toilets and an MLAK-operated adult change facility. Soft sand, the changing waterline, rocky areas and headland stairs are not reliably step-free.
