Getting in
- Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay: This is the realistic gateway, about 80.8 km from Negril. Pre-book a shared airport shuttle for the 60–90-minute ride (roughly US$30–45 per person), or arrange a private transfer if you are a group (commonly about US$100–150 per vehicle). The good move is a confirmed hotel or reputable shuttle pickup with the fare agreed before landing—not negotiating separately with airport touts after a flight. There is no useful direct rail or scheduled public-transport alternative for most visitors.
