When to go

Time: Late afternoon through sunset for warm light on the tower and coastal atmosphere. · Early morning in July–August for easier close parking, fewer people in photos, and often calmer water. · Clear mornings for crisp Casco Bay views; use the live webcam before leaving.
Avoid: Avoid lightning, high winds, icy paths, dangerous surf on rocks, thick fog for distant views, and arriving after sunset.
