Lynden Pindling International Airport: Taxi is the sensible default: about 20–25 minutes to downtown, with posted/fixed fares roughly US$27–36 depending on party and destination; confirm the total before getting in. Skip pre-booked “airport transfers” unless you need a child seat or late-night certainty. The budget option is Jitney 12B: walk out to John F. Kennedy Drive, cross the road, flag it down, and pay about US$2.50; it runs roughly every 30 minutes, but there is no airport stop, luggage space is poor, and it is not a good arrival plan after dark.
Prince George Wharf Cruise Terminal: Downtown Bay Street, the Straw Market, Parliament Square and the Queen’s Staircase are walkable from the pier in roughly 5–25 minutes. Do not buy a generic port shuttle or a city tour merely to reach downtown; spend that money only if you specifically want a beach or Paradise Island.
