Getting in
- Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar: For a solo budget transfer, take the direct Perama airport bus to Ubud: three daily departures (08:30, 12:00, 16:00), about Rp110,000, dropping at Perama’s hub about 2 km south of central Ubud. It must be booked ahead online by 15:00 the previous day, or bought at the terminal subject to availability. For most arrivals, a pre-arranged private driver is the genuinely sensible option: roughly Rp300,000 one way and typically 1¼–2 hours, but much longer in south-Bali traffic. Do not waste time trying to piece together local buses from the airport with luggage.
